Banaras Hindu University (BHU) released the Round-1 seat allotment list for its undergraduate courses under the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 admission process on August 8. The allotment details are now accessible on candidates’ Samarth Dashboard at bhucuet.samarth.edu.in and also on bhu.ac.in. Additionally, the university has published the subject-wise and college-wise cut-off marks for all programmes. Students can view and access the BHU UG 2025 admission cut-off marks, both college-wise and subject-wise, at bhu.ac.in.
Students who have been allocated seats are required to pay the admission fee online through the admission link by August 11 (11:59 pm) to confirm their place. Those who do not complete the online fee payment will have their seats cancelled, and such candidates will not be eligible for further rounds in the same programme. However, they may qualify for allotment in other programmes if they have submitted applications, in accordance with the allotment rules.
Following the fee payment, candidates can select between the free or upgrade options. Those who choose to upgrade must pay the fee difference if they are assigned a higher preference seat later. If no upgrade takes place, they will keep their current seat.
BHU has recommended that candidates carefully review the eligibility criteria prior to making payment and to prevent last-minute delays by completing the process well ahead of the deadline.
The BHU UG round 2 seat allotment is scheduled for August 11. The third and fourth rounds of UG admission counselling will take place on August 14 and August 18, respectively. Admitted students are expected to report in person at the designated faculty or college on August 25. The UG classes for the 2025 session will commence on August 28.
BHU may also organize spot admission rounds for UG programmes following the physical reporting. The announcement regarding the spot round of admission for UG courses at BHU will be made after assessing the vacant seats available.
