The LOC form is accessible to schools and principals via the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in. A late fee is required to fill and submit the LOC form.
The Board has instructed all Principals to ensure that the LOC for their respective schools is completed and submitted within the designated timeframe, including the late fee. Schools that do not submit their LOCs by the final deadline will be fully accountable for non-compliance and any resulting consequences, which may include the ineligibility of their candidates to participate in the Board Exam 2026.
CBSE Board Exam 2026: Instructions for filling LOC
To complete the LOC form, please adhere to the following steps.
- Navigate to the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
- Click on the board exam link available on the homepage.
- A new dropdown menu will appear where candidates must select the LOC link.
- Register online and complete the form.
- Pay the late fee and click on submit.
- After completion, download the confirmation page.
- Retain a hard copy of the confirmation for future reference.
The Board has already published the tentative datesheet for Classes 10 and 12. According to the schedule, the main board examinations for Class 10 and 12 will begin on February 17, 2026. The Class 10 main board exams will conclude on March 9, 2026, while Class 12 exams will end on April 9, 2026. On most days, examinations for both classes will take place from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, although for certain subjects, they will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
