Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) published the School Academic Performance Report Card for all affiliated schools for the academic year 2024–25.
This initiative is intended to assist schools in analyzing their performance through data and formulating informed strategies to enhance teaching and learning.
The School Academic Performance Report Card provides a comprehensive analysis of each school’s performance in the Class 10 and Class 12 Board examinations.
It encompasses:
Comparative performance insights: Schools are able to compare their results with the state and national CBSE averages in each subject, allowing them to identify their strengths and areas requiring improvement.
Gender-wise trends: The report emphasizes the performance of male and female students, aiding schools in promoting gender equity in educational outcomes.
Holistic indicators: Beyond academics, the report monitors students’ involvement and achievements in sports and games, benchmarked against performance at cluster and zonal levels.
CBSE stated that this initiative is aimed at encouraging schools to reflect on their performance and utilize the insights for improved academic planning. Schools have been urged to incorporate the findings into their Annual Pedagogical Plans for the upcoming session.
Heads of institutions can access their school’s report card via the CBSE School Login Portal using their credentials.
According to CBSE, this measure reinforces its dedication to transparency, accountability, and holistic excellence in education, aligning with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
