Delhi University is set to carry out the on-the-spot mop-up round allocations and admissions today, September 23, 2025. This admission process will take place in person at the Delhi University campus.
Candidates who have received the invitation must ensure they report in person to the University on the date and time specified in the invitation letter issued by the University. Under no circumstances will a representative on behalf of the candidate be permitted. Entry to the Multipurpose Hall will only be granted based on the Invitation letter sent by the University.
According to a report by PTI, university officials indicate that approximately 7,500 seats remain vacant across various colleges and programs despite several admission cycles. “Approximately 7,000-7,500 seats are still unfilled even after the previous mop-up round, and the university is providing another opportunity for eligible candidates,” stated an official.

Documents required
The following documents are necessary for the admission process:
- Printout of the Invitation Letter
- Printout of CSAS(UG) Form
- Class XII Marksheet and Certificate
- Class X marksheet/ Date of birth certificate
- Any valid identity card issued by the Government of India (Aadhar Card/ Passport, etc.)
- Reservation/ Category Certificate (if applicable).
If a candidate does not deposit the admission fee (online) immediately at the time of seat allotment for any reason, the seat allotted to him/her will be cancelled immediately and offered to the next candidate based on merit.
The university has advised candidates to utilize the Delhi Metro (Yellow line) to reach Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station. They should also carry water bottles or other essentials as needed.
Only the candidate and a maximum of two accompanying persons/ guardians will be permitted entry into the University premises. For further details, candidates can visit the official website of Delhi University.
