The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB), located in Gandhinagar, has announced an extension for the application deadline for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026. According to an official notice released by the board, eligible candidates may now submit their online application forms until January 6, 2026.
GUJCET serves as the entrance examination for admission into degree engineering and degree/diploma pharmacy programs in Gujarat. This examination is intended for candidates who have either completed or are currently enrolled in the HSC examination within the Science stream, which includes students from Groups A, B, and AB.
As stated in the notice, the information bulletin and the online application form for GUJCET 2026 can be accessed on the official websites www.gseb.org and gujcet.gseb.org. Candidates must complete the online application form within the newly extended deadline.
The board has urged candidates, parents, and educational institutions to verify that all information provided in the application form is correct and consistent with official records. Any inconsistencies may result in complications during the subsequent stages of the admission process.
The application fee for GUJCET 2026 is set at Rs. 340. This fee can be paid online via SBI ePay using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. Additionally, candidates have the option to choose “SBI Branch Payment” and pay the fee in cash at specified SBI branches.
GUJCET is a significant entrance examination for professional courses in Gujarat, and students are encouraged to complete the application process well before the final deadline to prevent any last-minute technical difficulties.
