The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the CA Foundation Examination 2021 till July 24. Initially, the foundation group exams were to be held on June 24, 26, 28, and 30.
The official notification reads that “In view of the ongoing COVID-19 and the interest of welfare and well-being of students and to mitigate their hardships, it has been decided to postpone the CA foundation exam. The said examinations will now be commenced from July 24, 2021, across the globe,”.

Furthermore, the online window for change of the examination city — May / July 2021 will reopen from June 9 (10 am) to June 11 and the facility will be available at icaiexam.icai.org.
The ICAI application process for the foundation course commenced on April 20. As per the notification released by ICAI, papers 1 and 2 of the Foundation exam will be of 3 hours duration and will be held between 2 pm to 5 pm, whereas papers 3 and 4 will be of 2 hours duration and will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm.
