The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is set to announce the results for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examinations in May. Once the results are released, students who participated in the exams will have the opportunity to download their results from the Council’s official website, cisce.org.
The Council has previously communicated through official notifications that the results for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examinations will be made public in May 2025.
Traditionally, the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 are announced on the same day, consistent with previous years.
For example, in 2024, the Council released the ICSE and ISC results on May 6, with a pass percentage of 99.47% for ICSE and 98.19% for ISC. Notably, female students achieved a higher pass rate in both classes. However, last year, the Council opted to stop announcing the names of top performers to mitigate “unhealthy competition” among students.
In 2023, the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 were declared on May 14, with ICSE students achieving a pass percentage of 98.94% and ISC students recording a pass percentage of 96.93%. The Council also published the names of the top achievers alongside the results.
This year, the Class 10 (ICSE) board examinations commenced on February 18 and concluded on March 27, 2025. Similarly, the Class 12 board examinations began on February 13 and will end on April 5, 2025.
