Karnataka Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka has released the 2nd PUC result 2021 in online mode on the official website at karrresults.nic.in. Interested students can check the result by clicking on the 2nd PUC result 2021 Karnataka Board link and entering their registration number.
This year, the board has decided to cancel the board exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the 2nd PUC result has been prepared on the basis of evaluation criteria. As per the criteria, 45% weightage would be given to SSLC marks, 45% weightage to first PUC marks, and 10% to be given to the academic performance in 2nd PUC.
As per the result, a total of 2,51,686 students had appeared for the 2nd PUC exam 2021 in Commerce stream, 2,19,777 in Science, 69,529 students had appeared in Arts. Around 1,47,584 students were from the village, 1.95 lakh students secured distinction. A total of 2,239 have secured 100% pass percentage. Out of the total number of 100% scorers, around 445 which is the highest number is from Dakshina Kannada. The least number of 100 % scorers with 149 in number are from Udupi district.
Students must note that private students and repeaters of Karnataka 2nd pre-university course (PU) have also been promoted without an exam.
