The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, located in Pune, has announced the dates for the HSC or Class 12 board examinations for the year 2026. Candidates who are set to take the board exams can find further details on the official website at mahahsscboard.in.
As per the official announcement, the High Secondary Certificate or Class 12 examinations are scheduled to take place from February 10, 2026, to March 18, 2026.
In addition, the practical examinations and internal assessments will be held from January 23, 2026, to February 9, 2026.
It is important to note that the board will publish a detailed date-wise examination schedule on its official website in the near future.
In the previous year, 2025, the Maharashtra Class 12 or HSC examination occurred from February 11 to March 11, 2025, with the results being declared on May 5, 2025.
A total of 14,27,085 students registered (regular) for the examination, out of which 14,17,969 participated, and 13,02,873 successfully passed.
The overall pass percentage recorded was 91.88%, with the Konkan division achieving the highest performance among districts.
Conversely, the Latur division ranked the lowest, with a pass percentage of 89.46%.
