The application process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) Counselling 2024 will start on August 14. The candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2024 can apply on the official website – mcc.nic.in. The registration window against round 1 will be available from August 14 to August 20 (noon) and the payment facility will be available between August 14 and August 20 (3 pm).
Choice filling will begin on August 16 and it will end on August 20 at 11.55 pm. Choice locking will start from 4 pm to 11.55 pm on August 20. The verification of tentative seat matrix by the participating institutes and the National Medical Commission (NMC) will be done from August 14 to 15. The processing of seat allotment against round 1 will happen from August 21 to 22. The round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 23. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute between August 24 and 29.
For round 2 of the NEET UG counselling, the verification of seat matrix will be done by institutes from September 4 to 5. The registration process will commence on September 5 and continue till September 10 (noon). The payment facility will be available for three more hours, until 3 pm on September 10.

The round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on September 13. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is conducting NEET UG counselling for all India quota seats – 15 per cent. For UG seats against all India quota, deemed universities, central universities, all AIIMS institutes and JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal), NEET UG counselling this year will be conducted in four rounds. These are – AIQ round 1, round 2, round 3 and an online stray vacancy round.
