The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2025 online. Candidates will have the opportunity to check and download their CUET UG results at cuet.nta.nic.in once they are released. The CUET UG 2025 examination took place from May 13 to June 4.
On July 1, the final answer keys for CUET UG were published. A total of 27 questions from all subjects and sessions have been excluded from the final answer key for CUET UG 2025. According to the marking scheme, all candidates who participated in the exam will receive five marks for the dropped questions, regardless of whether they attempted them or not.
For questions where multiple options are deemed correct, candidates who selected any of the correct options will also be awarded five marks.
The provisional answer keys for CUET UG were made available on June 17, and the NTA permitted candidates to submit grievances regarding them until June 20.
In the case of multi-shift papers, the raw or actual marks obtained by candidates in different shifts and sessions will be converted into an NTA score. The NTA score for CUET UG 2025 will be valid solely for admissions for the academic year 2025-26.
This year, the CUET UG was conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Notably, the examination was conducted entirely online for the first time. Students were allowed to select five subjects, a reduction from the previous option of six subjects. This year, students could choose any subjects regardless of whether they had studied them in Class 12. The total number of subjects was decreased from 63 to 37. Additionally, a separate general aptitude test was introduced for candidates appearing in subjects not studied in Class 12. The option for optional questions was eliminated in this year’s exam, requiring students to attempt all questions.
