The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) today declared the Class 12 HSE. The TN plus 2 result scorecards are available at the official websites at www.results.shiksha/tamil-nadu. This year 94.56% of students passed exams.
Candidates will be required to key in their registration number or roll number and password to check the TN HSE +2 scorecard. The TN Class 12 HSC plus 2 exam was conducted between March 1 and 22 for over eight lakh students.
This year, a total of 7,60,606 candidates appeared of which 7,19,196 passed. Among them, 3,93,890 (96.44%) girls passed while 3,25,305 (92.37%) boys passed.
The number of students appearing in the TN Class 12 +2 exams has declined over the years. While there were 8,42,512 students in 2019, in 2020, the number of students dropped to 7,79,931. The number although increased in 2021 to 8,16,473, dropped again to 8,06,277 in 2022, and finally, in 2023, the number of students taking the exam declined to 8,03,385.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu board Class 10 result will be announced on May 10. The TN SSLC examination was conducted from March 26 to April 8 and the SSLC practical exams were held between February 26 and 28.
