The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has started placement drive for the year 2020. According to sources on day one, 272 offers are made. Of these 153 job offers were made during Pre-Placement Session.
Companies like Alphonso, Amazon, Analog Devices, AppDynamics India, Bajaj Auto, Codenation, Cohesity, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Intel Technology, Jaguar Land Rover, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Micron Technologies Operations India LLP, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm India, Quantbox Research, SAP Labs, Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), Sprinklr India, Squarepoint Capital, Texas Instruments, Uber, Vedanta Limited (Cairn Oil & Gas) offered jobs to the students.
A total of 25 companies conducted the interviews today. There will be more interviews in over next few days. The highest package offered is Rs 80 Lac. Last year the highest domestic package offered was Rs. 60 Lac.
