JEE Main is one of the biggest engineering exams conducted at a national scale and it is one of the most difficult National Level admission exams. Though India has several top engineering colleges from IIT to NITs, this engineering seats in these colleges are limited. The majority of aspirants pass on their first attempt in JEE Main however despite hard work and dedication many aspirants are not able to advance to the next stage in the JEE Main 2023 exam secured rank to get admission.
As per the report, this year, approximately 9.4 lakh candidates participated in the Session 2 exam out of which only 2.5 lakh students have qualified to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET)
Earlier known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an all-India test being organized by National Testing Agency for admission in various central universities of India. As per the CUET UG eligibility criteria 2023, candidates must have cleared Class 10+2 or equivalent or 10+3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education. This year DU has been ranked among the top 15 BE/B.Tech colleges accepting CUET. The B.Tech courses are of 4 years duration. To be eligible to sit in the CUET, students must obtain a minimum of 55%, and to qualify; they should get 60% of the total marks.
BITSAT– Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS)
B0irla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani is a private deemed university in Pilani, Rajasthan, India. To apply for the application forms Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Grade 12) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with adequate proficiency in English conducted by the country’s Board of Higher/ Senior Secondary Education, including those in India.

SRMJEEE– SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination
The entrance exam is conducted by SRMIST (SRM Institute of Science and Technology) for admission to Bachelor of Technology programs offered by the institute. SRMIST offers admission to Engineering, Medical, Management, and Science & Humanities students. The university also extends several scholarships. To apply for the exam candidates must have passed in 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination or any other equivalent examination of any authority recognized by SRMIST with a minimum of 60% aggregate/percentage of marks. The candidate can belong to any group of study (Science, Commerce, Fine Arts, or any other stream).
VIT Engineering Entrance Exam
Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programs in the VIT group of Institutes. Before applying for the exam candidates must note that He/She must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam. However, candidates must note that VITEEE is an entrance examination only for admission to B-Tech courses but if you are seeking admission in any other course like BA/B.Sc./B-Arch and some others then you don’t need to appear in VITEEE.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education
MAHE is India’s Top Ranked Private University For Engineering and Architecture courses. Candidates can apply for admission in courses provided at Manipal University on the basis of their rank/score on the Manipal Entrance Test (MET). To apply for admission candidates should have passed the 10+2th qualifying (or equivalent) exam with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/any technical vocational subject as an optional subject.
Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).
COMEDK full form is the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka that conducts UGET. The undergraduate entrance test (UGET) is a computer-based test for admission to BE/BTech courses. To get qualified for the entrance exam candidates should have passed the qualifying examination which is the 2nd PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government.
AP EAMCET-JNTU Kakinada
The EAMCET is an annual examination conducted for engineering and medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State. To appear for the exam candidates should have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination of intermediate or 10+2 level or any equivalent examination as recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. The AP EAMCET score will have 75% weightage and IPE marks will have 25% weightage. Candidates with 50,000 to 75,000 rank in TS EAMCET 2022 will have a chance to secure admission to top B. Tech colleges in Telangana.
KIITEE Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), formerly KIIT University, is a private deemed university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Candidates who wish to apply must be from 17-35 years of age. Candidates should have passed or are pursuing 10 + 2 or equivalent in a regular full-time mode. Candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate mark of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to be eligible. For lateral admission, candidates should have passed a Diploma course in Engineering, with at least 60% aggregate from a State Council of Technical Education of any state and candidates should have been born after July 1, 1997.
AMUEEE- Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Exam
Aligarh Muslim University is a public central university in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. To apply for the application form Candidates must be passed a higher exam with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English subjects. Age limit: The age of candidates should be a minimum of 21 years as of July 31 in the year of admission.
MHT CET – State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test
The state-level entrance exam is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra every year for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses such as B. Tech/ B.E, Pharma D, and B. Eliigiblity criteria for the exam for General category candidates is they must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognized board/ University. SC/ST/OBC category candidates must have 40% and above in class 12.
NATA
NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. Qualifying for the exam is mandatory for getting admission to various colleges across India offering a BArch degree. It is a national-level entrance exam that will be conducted on June 3 and July 9 for phase 2 and 3 exams respectively. The last date to apply for the second test is May 22 and June 27 for the third test. If a candidate attempts two tests, then the best of the two scores will be considered, and in case the student appears for all three exams then the average of the two best scores will be taken. The exam will be of 3 hours, with a total of 125 questions worth 200 marks. The questions will majorly assess the aptitude of the students focusing on general knowledge, mathematics, and drawing. The questions will be in the form of MCQ, Multiple Select type (MSQ), Preferential Choice type (PCQ), and Numerical Answer type (NAQ), with no negative marking.
TNEA
TNEA is for admission to colleges offering BArch throughout the state of Tamil Nadu. The state of Tamil Nadu does not conduct any BArch admission entrance exam or state-level entrance exam for entry to Bachelor of Architecture programs. Rather it considers the exam score of NATA or JEE Main (Paper – II).
West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is a state-level exam conducted by WBJEEB.The passing marks for the exam for general category candidates should have scored an aggregate of 45% in the three compulsory subjects in the 10+2th (or equivalent) examination. Reserved category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 40% marks.
