The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has declared the TS Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET 2023) results today. Candidates will be able to check results and download TS ECET rank card 2023 from the official website, ecet.tsche.ac.in.
The TS ECET 2023 exam is conducted for lateral admission into 2nd year regular BE, BTech, BPharm courses in both university and unaided private professional institutions both minority and non-minority.
In case of a tie in the aggregate, the TS ECET marks are obtained in an engineering subject, and in case of a further tie, the marks obtained in the mathematics subject will be considered. And if the tie still continues, the marks obtained in physics will be taken into account for the ranking.
The officials informed that if two or more candidates get equal marks in each of the four subjects, they will be bracketed for the purpose of awarding rank. The age of the candidate will be considered at the time of admission for resolving the tie, the older candidate being given preference, the official notification read.
Candidates who secure the minimum passing marks will be considered qualified for the counselling process. “Admission to 85% of the seats in each course shall be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974,” it said.
