The AP Government, Department of School Education has announced the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 July schedule online. Interested and eligible candidates can complete the application form by visiting the official website at aptet.apcfss.in. As per the official schedule, the AP TET application fee payment window will open tomorrow, July 3, and remain active till July 16.
Candidates appearing for the exam and belonging to the unreserved category must score 60 percent and above. However, candidates belonging to the backward classes must score 50 percent and above, and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Physically Handicapped (PH) categories must score at least 40 percent and above.
The duration is 2 hours 30 minutes. The exam will include a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There will be two papers, paper 1 will consist of five sections: child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, mathematics, and environmental studies. Paper 1 will comprise 30 questions in each section.
Paper 2 will consist of five sections: child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, and subjects relating to the elected stream. The first three sections will comprise of 30 multiple-choice questions, followed by 60 in the final section.
