The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has released the seat allotment for the special round for the academic year 2024-2025. This is a special round to fill the vacant seats in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Students can check the result at csab.nic.in.
Candidates will have to enter their JEE Main 2024 application number, password and security pin to download the CSAB special round seat allotment. The selected candidates will get five options – freeze, slide, float, surrender and withdraw during the special counselling 2024. Those opting for ‘freeze’ will mean that they have accepted the allotted programme. The ‘slide’ option is for those candidates who wish to choose a better programme/branch provided there is a vacancy available in the allotted institute in the CSAB special round 2
