The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially released the schedule for WBJEE 2024 Counselling for BPharm courses. Aspirants who have secured a valid rank in WBJEE 2024 (Pharmacy Merit Rank) or JEE Main 2024 can register for the counseling process from today, September 19. This e-counseling is set to allocate pharmacy seats in various self-financed institutions, colleges, and universities across West Bengal.
The entire counseling process, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and payment of the seat acceptance fee, will be conducted online through a centralized system.
It will comprise two rounds for candidates holding WBJEE 2024 PMR or JEE Main 2024 ranks. These rounds include allotment and upgradation. Candidates must register at the start of Round I to participate in the seat allocation process. Seats will be assigned based on the approved Seat Matrix provided by the Competent Authority (DTE, Government of West Bengal). All candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have secured a valid rank are eligible to participate.
Additionally, the WBJEE Board has clarified that no vacant seats under reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD, EWS) will be converted to general/unreserved categories during the counseling process. Similarly, any unfilled seats in the TFW (Tuition Fee Waiver) category will not be reallocated to general candidates.
