The Railway Recruitment Boards has issued the admit card for the RRB ALP CBT 2. Candidates intending to participate in the Assistant Loco Pilot Computer Based Test 2 can download their hall ticket from the official RRB website.
RRB ALP CBT 2: Examination Format
The CBT 2 for the Assistant Loco Pilot is scheduled for March 19 and 20, 2025. The examination will be divided into two sections: Part A and Part B. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes, comprising 175 questions. Part A will include 100 questions to be completed in 90 minutes, while Part B will consist of 75 questions with a time limit of 60 minutes.
The test will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 12 regional languages.
There will be a penalty for incorrect answers, with 1/3 of a mark deducted for each wrong response. Marks will be normalized for CBTs conducted across different shifts. In Part A, the minimum qualifying percentage is set at 40% for UR and EWS candidates, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC candidates, and 25% for ST candidates. Only the scores from Part A will be considered for shortlisting candidates for the next stage of the recruitment process, provided that all candidates, regardless of their community, achieve the qualifying score of 35% in Part B.
RRB ALP CBT 2: Examination Guidelines
Candidates preparing to take the examination should adhere to the following guidelines:
- All candidates must present their e-call letters at the exam center to participate in the Assistant Loco Pilot CBT 2.
- Candidates are required to bring a valid original photo ID, which may include a Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, printout of e-Aadhaar, driving license, PAN card, passport, or a valid identity card issued by their employer if they are government employees. Students may also present a school, college, or university photo ID card. Failure to provide an acceptable ID will result in disqualification from the examination.
- Candidates must bring a copy of the same-colored passport photograph that was uploaded with their online application for the CBT/CBAT/DV/ME.
- Before entering the examination hall, candidates will undergo biometric authentication linked to their Aadhaar at the exam center. It is mandatory for candidates to present either their original Aadhaar card or a printed copy of their e-verified Aadhaar.
- Any candidate discovered engaging in dishonest practices, including forgery, impersonation, cheating, misconduct, the use or attempted use of prohibited items, misrepresentation, or concealment of information, will be permanently disqualified from participating in all examinations conducted by the RRBs and RRCs.
