The Staff Selection Commission has announced the dates for the skill test of the SSC Steno Grade C & D Exam 2024. Candidates interested in the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2024 (Skill Test) can access the official notification on the SSC’s website at ssc.gov.in.
According to the official announcement, the skill test for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2024 is scheduled for April 16 and 17, 2025.
Candidates who have been shortlisted from the Computer Based Examination must participate in the Stenography Skill Test. During this test, candidates will receive a 10-minute dictation in either English or Hindi, based on their selection in the online application form, at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The dictation must be transcribed using a computer.
Candidates who choose to take the Stenography Test in Hindi will be required to learn English Stenography and vice versa after their appointment; failure to do so may result in their probation not being cleared by the respective departments or organizations.
This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 1,926 positions, with 1,687 vacancies designated for Stenographer Grade ‘D’ and 239 for Stenographer Grade ‘C’.
