The Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced an extension for the application deadline for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to March 31, 2025. Prospective applicants can complete their submissions online at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
Candidates must first register before applying by logging in with their assigned application number and password. The application fee is set at ₹2,000 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates, while SC, ST, and disabled candidates are required to pay ₹1,000.
During the application process, candidates must upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature, as well as their 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets, graduation mark sheet, and CAT scores (or GMAT scores for international applicants).
Selection will be based on the CAT score, group discussion, and personal interviews, with the following weightage assigned to each component:
- CAT score: 70%
- Group discussion: 10%
- Personal interview: 20%
Since its inception in 2019, alumni from four graduating classes of the MBA program have secured positions at organizations such as NABARD, Axis Bank, ZEE Health Care, ITC Ltd., KPMG, Ernst & Young, Petronet LNG, IndusInd Bank, Naukri.com, Somani Ceramics, American Express, Tech Mahindra, KPMG, IIFL, Jackson, and Lava Company, with some also launching their own businesses, as stated by JNU in a press release.
The university established the ABVSME and the Atal Incubation Centre to foster entrepreneurship and enhance the enterprise ecosystem in India.
The curriculum is periodically updated under the guidance of experts from the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), according to JNU.
