The results for GATE 2025 were published on March 19, alongside the list of top performers. The examinations took place over multiple sessions on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with over one million candidates participating. The GATE 2025 scorecard will be valid for three years, expiring in March 2028. It can be utilized for admission to Master of Technology (MTech), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and Master of Engineering (ME) programs at leading engineering institutions. Furthermore, these scorecards are applicable for recruitment in prominent Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) that consider GATE scores for job applications.

Admissions to IITs are conducted through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP), with registrations anticipated to commence in April.
