The Assam State School Education Board has published the timetable for the HSLC Compartment Exam 2025. Candidates wishing to take the compartment examination can access the date sheet on the official ASEEB website.
The HSLC compartment examination will commence on May 23 and conclude on May 29, 2025. The exams will be conducted in two shifts: the first shift will run from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift will take place from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The compartment exam will start with the MIL/English and Sanskrit papers and will finish with Advanced Mathematics, Geography, History, Computer Science, Commerce, and Hindi papers.
The Board will provide an additional 15 minutes for reading the question paper, from 8:45 am to 9 am in the morning shift and from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm in the afternoon shift.
This examination is intended for candidates who did not pass the HSLC Examination, 2025 but failed in no more than three subjects and achieved a minimum of 170 marks overall. They will have the opportunity to sit for the Compartmental Examination only once. Candidates taking the Compartmental Examination must attain at least 30% in the subjects appeared for and must have a total score of 180 or above to be considered successful.
The list of centers where the Compartmental examination will be held will be announced on the Portal.
The Assam HSLC results were released on April 11. This year, the overall pass percentage is 63.98%. The pass percentage for boys is 67.59%, while for girls, it stands at 61.09%. Amishi Saikia from Jorhat district topped the SEBA matric examinations in 2025 with a score of 98.50 percent. For further information, candidates can visit the official ASEEB website.
