The passing score requirements for the Class 10 and 12 board exams were explained by CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj.
In order to graduate Class 10, students must receive at least 33% of the possible points in all subjects (including Internal Assessment, Project, Practical, and Theory). In order to complete Class 12, students must receive at least 33% in each of the following subjects: Theory and Internal Assessment/Project/Practical, as well as 33% overall (combined) for each subject.
Over 42 lakh pupils took the CBSE board exams this year, which were held from February 15 to April 4, 2025. Class 12 examinations ended on April 4, and Class 10 board exams ended on March 18.

CBSE students will be able to view their CBSE Class 10th and 12th results by this week. Students can verify their CBSE results for 2025 in a number of methods. To view and download their CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 results, students must enter their roll number, birthdate, and admit card ID.
Once the CBSE results are declared, students can log into DigiLocker using the credentials and Access Code provided. CBSE will also send DigiLocker login details to students via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. Through this platform, students will be able to download verified digital copies of their marksheets and certificates for academic and career purposes.
By combining their theory and internal assessment scores, class 10 children must receive 33 percent to pass the CBSE 2025 exams. Students in class 12 must receive 33 percent in theory and practicals, respectively. A student may receive a grace mark or marks if they fall short of this requirement by about one mark.
Details like the student’s name, total subject-wise marks, theory and practical marks, qualifying status (pass or fail), and more will be included in the CBSE board Class 10 marksheet. Because the scorecard will be provisional, students must pick up the original mark sheet from their respective schools.
