The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2025 on its official portal. Candidates who participated in the main examination can view their results by visiting the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
The examination took place from June 21, 2025, to June 22, 2025.
Those candidates who have successfully passed this written examination are now eligible to proceed to the Personality Interview Round. According to a press release on the official website, the roll numbers of the candidates who have been shortlisted are now accessible on the official UPSC website.
At this stage, the candidates’ status will remain provisional until the interview and personality test, during which candidates must present original certificates to validate their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, community, physical disability, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) status.

Candidates should adhere to the following steps to access the list.
- Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
- On the homepage, locate the ‘What’s New’ section.
- Click on the link titled “Written Result: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2025”.
- Download the PDF of the result and verify your Roll Number in the provided list.
- Keep it for future reference.
Additionally, a period of 15 days will be made available for candidates who have qualified for the interview to update their educational qualification status on the official portal. The Detailed Application Form (DAF) will be accessible from July 29 to August 12, 2025, until 6:00 p.m.
The schedule for the interviews of shortlisted candidates will soon be posted on the commission’s website.
The commission will publish the Candidates’ mark-sheets on its website within 15 days following the announcement of the final result (after the Personality Test) and these will be accessible for approximately 30 days. Candidates can view their mark sheets by logging in with their assigned Roll Numbers and date of birth. A printed copy of the mark sheets will be provided by UPSC upon specific request, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope.
