The Staff Selection Commission has published the tentative vacancies list for the SSC CGL Exam 2025. Candidates who have registered for the Combined Graduate Level Exam 2025 can view the tentative vacancies list on the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
This recruitment initiative aims to fill 14,582 vacancies in Group B and Group C positions across various Ministries, Departments, Organizations of the Government of India, as well as several Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, and Tribunals. Among the total vacancies, 6,183 are allocated for the Unreserved (UR) category, 2,167 for Scheduled Castes (SC), 1,088 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 3,721 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 1,423 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The Tier I examination is scheduled to take place from August 13 to August 30, 2025. This Tier I will feature Objective Type, Multiple Choice questions. The questions will be presented in both English and Hindi, with the exception of the English Comprehension section. There will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer. The exam will include questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.

There will be no option for re-evaluation or re-checking of scores for any stage or Tier(s) of the examination. No correspondence regarding this matter will be entertained.
