The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate, known as NEET PG 2025, on Tuesday. In addition to the results, the agency provided the cut-off marks categorized by different groups.
To successfully pass the examination, candidates from the general and EWS categories were required to achieve a score in the 50th percentile, while general PwD candidates needed to score in the 45th percentile. Candidates from SC, ST, and OBC categories (including SC, ST OBC-PwD) were required to score in the 40th percentile.

The cut-off marks have been set at 276 for the General and EWS categories, 255 for general PwD candidates, and 235 for candidates from SC, ST, and OBC (including PwD) categories. The NEET-PG 2025 examination took place on August 3, facilitating admissions to various MD/MS/DNB/DrNB (Direct 6 Years Courses)/PG Medical Diploma Courses for the 2025-26 academic session.
According to NBEMS, every question posed in the NEET-PG 2025 examination was reviewed by faculty members from the relevant specialty areas post-examination to verify the technical accuracy of both the questions and the answer keys. Furthermore, it was confirmed that no questions were identified as technically incorrect.
NBEMS stated, “The merit position for All India 50% Quota seats will be announced separately. The final merit list and category-wise merit list for State Quota seats will be compiled by the States/UT in accordance with their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/regulations, and reservation policies.”
