The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has updated the timetable for the second counselling round of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025. The seat allotment results for KCET 2025 are relevant to admissions into various undergraduate programs throughout Karnataka, including BE, BTech, BArch, BPharm, and certain BSc courses.
According to the revised notification from KEA, candidates can finalize the fee payment for the allocated seats in engineering, architecture, nursing, pharmacy, AYUSH, farm science, and allied health science courses, for both Choice-1 and Choice-2, until September 3.
For those selecting Choice-3, a caution deposit of Rs 10,000 must be submitted by the deadline of September 3 via the official KEA website — cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Candidates who have opted for Choice-1 are required to download their seat confirmation slip by 5:30 PM on September 4, 2025, after completing the payment. They must then report to their designated colleges before 6:30 PM on the same day, bringing original documents, two photocopies, and a mobile device. KEA has strongly urged all candidates to adhere to this revised schedule meticulously, as non-compliance may lead to the cancellation of their allocated seats.
The KCET 2025 examination took place from April 15 to April 17. On the initial day, the KEA administered the KCET Kannada language test from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The examinations for KCET in physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology were conducted on April 16 and 17 across two shifts.
To remain informed about the counselling process, important dates, and admission procedures, candidates are advised to frequently visit the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The counselling procedure includes document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the designated institutes, with admissions determined by merit and the preferences of the candidates.
