ICAI CA January 2026 Exam: Application Procedure
Candidates can adhere to the following steps to apply for the ICAI CA January 2026 exam:
- Navigate to the official website at icai.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link to register for the ICAI CA January 2026 exam.
- Enter your credentials to log in and submit.
- Complete the application form and pay the examination fee.
- Review and submit the form.
- Download the confirmation page.
- Retain a printout of the same for future reference.
Key Dates
According to the schedule, the deadline for submitting online examination application forms (without a late fee) is November 16, 2025.
Conversely, the deadline for submitting online application forms (with a late fee of ₹600 or US $10) is November 19, 2025.
Additionally, students wishing to change their examination city or medium, or to correct their application, may do so between November 20 and 22, 2025.

Additionally, the late fee for submitting the application form after the designated final date is ₹600 (for Indian / Thimphu (Bhutan) / Kathmandu (Nepal) Centres) and US $ 10 (for overseas centres).
Candidates have the option to pay their application fee using VISA, MASTER or MAESTRO Credit / Debit Card / Rupay Card / Net Banking / Bhim UPI.
Furthermore, the final course examination for group 1 is scheduled for January 5, 7, and 9, 2025, while group 2 will take place on January 11, 13, and 16, 2026.
The intermediate course examination for group 1 is set to occur on January 6, 8, and 10, 2026, and group 2 will be conducted on January 12, 15, and 17, 2026.
Similarly, the foundation course examination is planned for January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026.
The international taxation-assessment test is scheduled for January 13 and 16, 2025, and the technical exam for insurance and risk management will be held on January 9, 11, 13, and 16, 2026.
