BSEB Bihar DElEd 2026 Online Form: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has prolonged the registration deadline for the DElEd Joint Entrance Examination, which is for admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) program, until January 9. The entrance examination will enable admission to over 30,000 seats throughout the state. The portal also offers information regarding the 306 colleges involved in the DElEd admission process, including their respective seat availability.
BSEB Bihar DElEd: Eligibility
Candidates with Polytechnic or ITI qualifications are not eligible, with the exception of those who have completed vocational Class 10+12, Madhyamik, or Intermediate examinations. Applicants must be at least 17 years of age at the commencement of the admission year.
Eligibility necessitates passing Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50 percent marks, while SC and PwD candidates require at least 45 percent. Candidates from the Urdu stream who have passed the Maulvi examination (equivalent to Class 10) with 50 percent marks are also eligible.

Previously, the application and fee payment window was scheduled to close on December 24, 2025. The registration fee is set at Rs 960 for General, EWS, BC, and EBC candidates, and Rs 760 for SC, ST, and PwD applicants.

BSEB Bihar DElEd: Passing marks
To pass, unreserved candidates must achieve at least 35 percent, while candidates from reserved categories (SC, ST, PwD) need a minimum of 30 percent. The final selection will be determined based on a merit list that combines entrance exam scores with institutional preferences.
BSEB Bihar DElEd: Pattern
The Bihar DElEd Joint Entrance Exam 2026 will comprise a total of 120 objective‑type questions carrying one mark each, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The paper will cover multiple sections, including 25 questions each from General Hindi/Urdu and Mathematics, 20 questions each from Science, Social Studies and General English, and 10 questions from Reasoning and Analytical Ability.
Candidates who clear the entrance exam will be allocated colleges based on their merit and the choice they opted for in the application form
