The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has officially revised the examination schedule for the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic) 2026. The state-level computer-based test (CBT), which was originally slated to take place between May 15 and May 22, 2026, has been postponed.
According to the official notification published on the council’s web portal, the JEECUP 2026 entrance examination will now be conducted from June 2 to June 9, 2026.

Reason Behind the Examination Postponement
The council issued a public statement clarifying that the shifting of the exam dates was executed entirely in the interest of the student community.
“In view of the request of the candidates and student interest, the last date of online application was extended to May 11, 2026. Hence, the proposed dates of the examination have been extended from May 15–22, 2026, and it has been decided to hold it between June 2 and June 9, 2026.”
By pushing the application deadline back, the council required a wider operational window to assign test centers, configure data logistics for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), and generate error-free hall tickets for the expanded applicant pool.
