President Ramnath Kovind said Education and health care are two basic pillars of good governance. Apart from education, the entire world has diverted its attention towards a good health care system.
While inaugurating the Super Specialty Hospital and Ispat Post Graduate Institute at the Rourkela Steel Plant President said, the super specialty hospital will not only cater to the needs of the citizens but also people from neighboring states like Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh will be greatly benefitted.
The President lauded the tireless efforts of the doctors, nurses etc. Extending his gratitude towards the health scientists working in the pharmaceutical laboratories, Mr. Kovind said that India has initiated a largest vaccination programme only due to the vigorous efforts of these scientists. “India has not only become ‘Atma Nirbhar’ in the development of vaccine, but it has supplied the same to other countries at free of cost . He said that the pandemic has taught us a lesson that how to develop our health infrastructure. The Super specialty hospital with 200 beds will provide better services to the patients in the field Neurology, Neuro Surgery, Cardiology, Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery, and Nephrology.
