The Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad concluded the Summer Placement process for the MBA class of 2022. Recruiters from various industry sections took part in the three cluster groups. The Boston Consulting Group has stayed in the top with 32 offers while McKinsey stand close second with 30 offers. The Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) turned out top recruiter in the IT segment with 14 offers.
In the consumer goods, consumer electronics and general management category, HUL, Samsung Electronics and CK Birla Group has made 6 offers each followed by Lenovo, 5 offers.
Among consultancy services, the consulting firm GEP has made 8 offers. From the banking sector Nomura has turned largest recruiter followed by Goldman Sachs and Bank of America – Merrill Lynch. The Venture Capital and Asset Management recruiters has witnessed a sharp growth of 40% compared to last year.
In the Laterals process, Amazon Inc. has made the maximum number of offers, 16 followed by PayTM 14 offers, Microsoft 11 offers and FinIQ 9 offers. Several new recruiters also participated this year, including Navi, Eversana, and Indxx Capital.
Prof. Amit Karna, Chairperson of the Placement Committee at IIM Ahmedabad said, “We completed the placement process in a virtual mode with recruiters and students logging in from remote locations.”

I have no doubt that our students will add tremendous value to these organizations looking to recover from the woes of the pandemic and build a better future.
