The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has confirmed that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) will be held on the specified date. NEET PG 2021 will be conducted April 18. NBE has released NEET PG admit card 2021 from April 13 for registered candidates. The admit card must be downloaded and should be carried at the exam centre with other relevant documents. With the sudden rise in COVID cases, aspirants are requesting NBE to postpone NEET PG 2021.
The notice by NBE said as per the directions of MoHFW the NEET PG exam will be conducted as scheduled on April 18. The notice read, “The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Govt of India vide its letter no. V.11025/215/2020-MEP(FTS-8079808) dated 13.04.2021 has directed that NEET-PG examination may be conducted as per the schedule following all the precautions and complying with all the SOPs issued by the ministry regarding the conduct of examinations”
Candidates took to Twitter using the #postponeneetpg campaign requesting authorities to postpone NEET PG 2021. However, as per the directions of the ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW), NBE has confirmed that NEET PG 2021 exam will be held on the scheduled date. NEET PG 2021 will be conducted in a computer-based mode. Candidates will have to answer 200 multiple-choice questions within 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Along with the NEET PG 2021 admit card, NBE has issued a COVID e-pass to candidates. The COVID e-pass is issued for assistance in the movement of candidates on the exam day amidst travel restrictions. The NEET PG COVID e-pass is valid from April 17 to April 19, 2021.
