National Testing Agency has decided to postpone, All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET) – 2021 due to a spike in Covid-19 cases in the country. The official notification by NTA reads that “The conduct of the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET) – 2021 for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy courses for the academic session 2021-22 has been entrusted to the NTA by the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India.“
The Notice further adds, “The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET) – 2021 was scheduled for 07 June 2021. However, in view of a steep upsurge of COVID 19 cases in the country, it has been decided to postpone the AIAPGET – 2021 for a minimum of three months. The revised date for the exam will be announced later on. The online registration for filling in the Application Form for the AIAPGET – 2021 will also be announced at a later stage. The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) for the latest updates.”

All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test is an online exam and single entrance gateway for admission to postgraduate AYUSH courses for the academic session 2020-21. It includes all India and state quota seats for admission to MD / MS / PG diploma courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy system of medicine for all AYUSH colleges, institutions and universities or deemed universities across the country.
The examination will be for 120 minutes and will be composed of multiple-choice questions with a single correct best response. For each correct response, +4 marks will be allotted and for each incorrect response, -1 marks will be deducted.
