Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revised KCET 2021 exam date. The decision was taken due to a surge in COVID-19 cases across the country. Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2021 was scheduled to be conducted on July 7 & 8, 2021. As per the official notice, the revised KCET 2021 exam dates are August 28 & 29, 2021 in offline mode.
As per the revised schedule, Biology (first shift) and Mathematics (second shift) exams will be held on August 28. Physics and Chemistry exams will be held on August 29 in the first and second shifts respectively.
The Kannada Language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am while the second shift will be from 2:30 pm and 3:50 pm on August 30.

Deputy CM C N Ashwathnarayan said that “We have decided to postpone KCET 2021 in the wake of the annual exams for second-year pre-univeristy students being postponed due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the state,”.
Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar had announced that “New dates will be announced well in advance,”. He also appealed to the students to continue with their preparations “without getting disheartened.”
About KCET 2021 Exam
Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) exam for admissions in various engineering colleges across the state for BTech courses. Shortlisted candidates from KCET 2021 exam will be called for counseling and admission process later.
Each section comprises 60 marks. Kannada language test will be conducted on August 20 for 50 marks. The exam conducting authority will release the KCET 2021 application form soon. The registration link will be available on the official website.
