The University of Delhi (DU) shall begin Under Graduate Admission 2021 process starting from August 2. This information is conveyed by Delhi University officials during a press conference held on July 17. Last date for submission of applications is August 31.
The Delhi University has nearly 70000 available seats across different Under Graduate Schools. However, in Post Graduate programmes seats are approximately 20000. The DU admission process will be completely online.
In a press conference Saturday, Chairperson, Admissions, Rajeev Gupta said, “Admissions to undergraduate merit-based programmes will be based on cut-offs as per past years’ practice. The admission branch is working with principals of colleges on modalities for deciding cut-offs so as to avoid over- and under-admissions.”
Due to Covid-19 crisis CBSE, one of the main feeder board for DU’s Under Graduate seats has not conducted the Class 12th examination. However, results will be released using the ratio of 40:30:30 for students’ performance in classes XII, XI and X respectively.
The Registration Process for DU Post Graduate Programmes shall start from July 26. The last date for application submission is August 21. The DU Entrance Test (DUET) 2021 will be administered by National Testing Agency (NTA).
The DU Admission process time line for M.Phil and Ph.D programmes will also be same as that of other Post Graduate programmes.
Starting this year, the DU will offer admissions to Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics, and Masters of Physiotherapy programs based on performance in DUET.
The eligibility criteria for DU Admission 2021 and fees will be same as it was for DU Admission 2020.To assist DU Applicants 2021 helpline will be functional 24×7. The students will get help by emails and chat bots.
