The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the extension regarding last attempt for Chartered Accountancy (CA) Old Course. The candidates enrolled for CA Intermediate Old Course and CA Final Old Course can appear for the examination in November 2021. The extension is also available for candidates who opted out the May 2021 Examination Cycle.
The ICAI will stop administering CA Old Course Examination after November 2021 Examination cycle is over. After this period the institute will not conduct any examination under CA Old Course scheme.
“The last attempt to appear in final and intermediate (IPC) old courses examination has been extended to November 2021 for all the students of these courses (irrespective of their opting out of May 2021 examination cycle or not),” reads the official notification.
Earlier, the ICAI had declared the CA Exam Dates December 2021 for CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final Examination under new course scheme. The CA Foundation Examinations are set to be delivered on December 13, 15, 17, and 19.
