The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), has reopened the Karnataka PGCET application window on September 27, 2021. Candidates who wish to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2021, are advised to check the eligibility criteria. Candidates fulfilling the criteria can start filling the Karnataka PGCET 2021 application form available at the official website at kea.kar.nic.in.
Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) 2021, will be held in November 2021. The Karnataka PGCET is conducted to provide admissions to the candidates into various PG courses in top Govt and private colleges based in Karnataka.
Karnataka PGCET 2021 Eligibility criteria
- Candidates need to be passed in the qualifying examination or equivalent examination
- Candidates should possess a minimum of 55% in the required exam. Candidates belonging to the reserved category have a relaxation of 5%, which is 45%.
- Candidates must have a history of 7 years recent stay in Karnataka, and they must have been enrolled and studied in Government or Government institutions for atleast 7 years (either serially or in a broken period)
- The candidate’s parents (either mother or father) must have studied for 7 years in a Government institution based within the Karnataka state.
- Candidates planning to attempt the Karnataka PGCET exam through GATE are required to possess a valid GATE score

- Class 10 mark sheet & class 12 mark sheet (Scanned copies)
- Caste certificate (If applicable)
- Income certificate
- QE mark sheet
- Scanned copy of the recent photograph, signature, and left thumb impression
Steps to fill Karnataka PGCET 2021 application form
Step 1- Visit the official website of Karnataka PGCET 2021
Step 2- Enter personal details and finish the registration process
Step 3- Now, the candidates will receive a registration number
Step 4- Enter personal details, and academic details
Step 5- Candidates applying through GATE should provide related information.
Step 6- Upload the required documents
Step 7- Recheck the entered details completely and click on the “Agree” button Step 8- Pay the application fee
Karnataka PGCET 2021 Application fee
The application form for the general category is Rs. 650/- and for the Reserved category Rs. 500/-. The payment can be done through net banking/credit card/debit card and in offline mode the cash can be deposited at any State branch of Mysore.
