The Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Thiruvananthapuram has released the IISER 2021 seat allotment round 1 for KVPY and SCB channel at iiseradmission.in. Candidates can check their IISER seat allotment 2021 through a login on the official website. IISER 2021 application form for JEE Advanced channel is open from October 20 to November 3. IISER Aptitude test 2021 was conducted on September 17.
What are the Options IISER 2021 seat allocation:
Float- The float option allows a candidate to be allotted an offer of higher preference (if any) than the one allotted in the current IISER seat allotment round, in subsequent rounds (if any). During counseling, the float option has been enabled for all candidates.
Freeze- If candidates are satisfied with the offer allotted to you in any round and do not wish to float, you can freeze your offer upon the fee payment. The freeze option once exercised is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. If candidates have been allotted to one of the IISERs, they need to pay the IISER 2021 round 1 seat acceptance fee through the counseling portal to accept the offer and confirm it till October 30.
Other details
The seat acceptance fee amounts to Rs. 35,000 (Rs.25,000 + Rs. 10,000 (non refundable administrative fee)) for General/EWS/OBC-NCL categories and Rs.17,500 (Rs.12,500 + Rs. 5000 (Non refundable administrative fee)) for SC/ST categories. Failure to deposit the IISER seat acceptance fee within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the offer. Furthermore, candidates will not be considered in any subsequent rounds of IISER seat allotment.
