The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has published the updated timetable for the Intermediate Public Examinations (theory) for both first and second year students, which are set to take place in February and March 2026. This revision was made to synchronize the examination schedule with the finalized list of general holidays for 2026, as stated in an official notification issued on December 19.
According to the revised timetable, the Intermediate Public Theory Examinations will commence on February 23, 2026, and will conclude on March 24, 2026. All examinations are scheduled to be held in the morning session from 9 am to 12 noon.
First-year students will begin their examinations with language papers, which include Telugu, Sanskrit, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Oriya, Kannada, Arabic, French, and Persian. Following this, English Paper-I is scheduled, along with subject papers such as History, Mathematics, Biology, Economics, Physics, Commerce, and Chemistry on various dates.
Second-year students will initiate their examinations on February 24 with the second language paper. Papers for English, Mathematics, Science, Commerce, Economics, Sociology, Fine Arts, and other subjects are distributed throughout the examination period, with Physics Paper-II set for March 13.
The timetable also accommodates separate dates for backlog students, with subject-specific papers scheduled alongside the regular examinations.
In addition to the theory exams, the Ethics and Human Values examination is slated for January 21, 2026, while the Environmental Education examination is planned for January 23, 2026. Practical examinations for general courses will take place from February 1 to February 10, 2026, and for vocational courses from January 27 to February 10, 2026.
What has changed:
The timetable that was published in October 2025 was provisional and may be adjusted in accordance with public holidays. The most recent announcement presents a modified and conclusive schedule.
Significant alterations consist of the rescheduling of Day 8 examinations to March 4, 2026, and Day 21 examinations to March 21, 2026. There are no modifications to the exam timings, syllabus, subjects, or paper format.
