The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has published the third provisional allotment list for the CLAT 2025 counselling. Candidates who have participated in the counselling process and have not yet accepted seats in the first and second rounds are eligible to do so in the third and final round by visiting the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
According to the consortium, if a candidate is content with the assigned seat and wishes to accept it, he or she must ‘Freeze’ the seat allocation.
“To ‘Freeze’ their seat in the Third round of the Admissions Counselling Process, candidates are required to pay a Non-refundable Confirmation Fee of Rs. 20,000 (Twenty thousand) within the designated timeframe in the Admissions Counselling…,” stated the consortium.
As per the official timeline, the payment of the confirmation fee to the consortium for Freeze options and admissions by NLUs for the Third and Final Allotment List must be completed by June 23, 2025, by 1 PM.
Candidates are required to pay the remaining University Fee (after deducting the Counselling Registration Fee and Confirmation Fee) to the respective NLU by June 27, 2025.
If a candidate opts not to engage in the Counselling Process, he or she may select to ‘Exit’ the Admissions Counselling Process.
Moreover, if a candidate who has been assigned a seat fails to exercise any of the options (Freeze, Float, and Exit) within the allotted time, they will be deemed uninterested in the Admission Counselling Process.
This will lead to the automatic disqualification of their candidature for admission, cancellation of their currently assigned seat, and removal of their name from the admission counselling process.
The central admission process managed by the consortium will conclude following the third round of the admissions counselling process.
