The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) published the preliminary model answers for the teacher recruitment exam for Classes 9-10 online, following the examination held on September 7. SSC chairman Siddhartha Majumdar stated that candidates have the opportunity to challenge the model answers, which will be reviewed by experts. Candidates will be able to access the WBSSC answer sheets after the forthcoming Durga Puja vacation.
“This is to inform all relevant parties that the preliminary model answers for the 11 subjects for which examinations were conducted on September 7 are now available for candidates to view…,” the commission announced in a notice on Tuesday evening.
The preliminary model answer keys for the teacher recruitment examination for Classes 11-12 are scheduled to be uploaded on September 20, as per the commission’s notice.
The recruitment tests took place on September 14. Candidates will have the opportunity to submit objections from September 20 to 25, with a fee of ₹100 per question. This fee will be refunded if the objection is deemed valid.
Majumdar indicated that the commission aims to finalize the entire recruitment process by December 31, in accordance with the directives of the Supreme Court.
Previously, approximately 2.91 lakh candidates participated in the examinations aimed at recruiting teachers for Classes 9-10.
