UPPBPB releases exam dates for Computer Operator, SI & Assistant SI posts

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the timetable for the written examinations pertaining to direct recruitment for various positions in the 2023 cycle. As stated in an official notification, the written examination for the Computer Operator Grade-A is scheduled for November 1, 2025, while the examinations for Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts) will occur on November 2. Both assessments will be administered in an offline format utilizing OMR-based question papers.

According to the official announcement, the names of the districts hosting the examination centres will be disclosed seven days prior to the examination date. Candidates will have the opportunity to download their admit cards three days before the examination.

Furthermore, the Board has emphasized that all information regarding the examination, including candidate instructions, will be provided exclusively through the official UPPRPB website, uppbpb.gov.in, and additional necessary guidance will be communicated in due course via the Board’s website.

The recruitment initiative was initially announced in 2023 to address vacancies across various categories within the Uttar Pradesh Police. The positions advertised encompassed Computer Operator Grade-A, as well as Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts). Candidates who submitted applications in response to this notification will now participate in the written examination as part of the selection process.
