Army Institute of Law Mohali will initiate the registration process for the Law Entrance Test (AIL LET 2024) on April 9. Students seeking admission into five-year BA LLB and one-year LLM programs can apply for AIL LET 2024 on the official website, ail.ac.in, till May 8. Applicants will have to submit an application fee of Rs 3,000.
Candidates applying for the exam between May 9 and 13 will have to pay an additional late fee of Rs 1,000. The institute will open the edit window from May 16 to 18. AIL LET 2024 will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on June 9. Applicants will be able to download the AIL LET 2024 admit card from May 30 onwards.
BA LLB seat matrix
AIL will admit 100 students to the BA LLB programme. A total of 71 seats will be available for wards of the Army soldiers and, one and three for children of those serving in the Navy and the Air Force, respectively. Twenty seats have been reserved for Punjab residents while five are under the all-India quota.
Candidates applying for the programme should have cleared Class 12 from Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination recognised by the Punjabi University Patiala. Students should have secured at least 45% marks in the qualification exam. The applicants who have passed Class 12 through open university systems directly, without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible for admission.
LLM seat matrix
AIL is offering 15 seats in the LLM programme. Ten seats have been reserved for the wards of Army personnel and one each for children of those serving in the Navy and the Air Force. Punjab residents can apply for two seats while one seat is available under the all-India quota. Candidates applying for the exam will have secured a minimum 55% marks in BA LLB or LLB.
