The CA Intermediate and Final exams, which were originally planned to take place from May 9 to May 14, 2025, have been rescheduled by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) due to the country’s hostile and secure environment.
The official announcement states that the exams will take place between May 16 and May 24, 2025. It added that the rescheduled exams would take place at the same testing locations and at the same times, which are 2 PM to 5 PM (IST) and 2 PM to 6 PM (IST).
Furthermore, admission cards that have already been issued will still be valid for the new dates.
Additionally, the Chartered Accountants Foundation May 2025 test will take place on May 15, 17, 19, and 21, 2025, as scheduled by the ICAI website.
The ICAI added that if the Central Government or any State Government or Local Holiday designated any day of the exam to be a public holiday, there would be no adjustments made to the exam schedule.
As was previously noted, the ICAI had delayed the exams when Operation Sindoor began. From May 9 to May 14, 2025, the remaining papers for the International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT AT) [Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate, and Post Qualification Course Examinations] were to be taken.
Students are encouraged to visit the ICAI for additional relevant information.
