The Plus Two Save A Year (SAY) and Improvement Examinations 2025 timetable has been made public by the Kerala Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE). These tests provide pupils the chance to raise their marks or pass courses they struggled with in the March 2025 exams. May 31, 2025, is the application date for the Kerala plus two SAY examinations.
The dates of the 2025 Kerala Plus Two SAY and Improvement Exams are set for June 23–27. On June 4 and 5, 2025, practical exams will be held at specified locations. Reappearance is not required for students who took the practical tests in January or February of 2025.

Qualifications for Kerala Plus Two SAY tests
In order to sit for the Kerala +2 SAY examinations, students must meet the following requirements:
SAY Exam: In topics where they received a grade below a D+, students who enrolled for the March 2025 Plus Two exams but were not eligible for further education may take the SAY exam.
Exam for Improvement: Regular students may only come in for improvement in one topic if they received a D+ or higher in all courses in March 2025.
Ineligibility: The SAY/Improvement Examination 2025 is not open to candidates who did not register for the March 2025 tests or who are private compartmental candidates. In biology, students are required to take both the zoology and botany papers.
Application procedure and costs for the Kerala +2 SAY test:
Students who registered for the March 2025 examinations can pick up application forms for the Kerala supplemental exams at their respective schools. The same school should receive the completed forms and a passport-sized photo confirmed by the principal. Admission tickets will be distributed by school principals at least three days before to the test, and online registration will be managed via the iExaMS portal.
Exam Schedule:
- The deadline for principals to remit fees to the Treasury is May 28, 2025.
- Applications are accepted till May 29, 2025, with a 600 rupee fine.May 31, 2025 is the last day for schools to register online.
Exam Fees:
- Cost for the SAY Exam is Rs. 150 for each subject without practicals and Rs. 175 for each subject including practicals.
- Exam for Improvement: 500 rupees each subject.
- Certificate Fee: An extra forty rupees.
- Selected higher secondary schools in Kerala, every school in Lakshadweep, and one chosen school in the Gulf region will all administer the tests.
