UP Minority Welfare Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar in Lucknow announced the results of the UP Madrasa Board 2025 exams for Alim (Senior Secondary) and Munshi/Maulvi (Secondary) administered by the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Education Council on the board’s official website, www.madarsaboard.upsdc.gov.in, on Friday afternoon. A total of 88082 students registered this year, and 68423 of those students took the test.
49882 of the 66780 pupils registered in the Munshi/Maulvi (Secondary) category took the test, and 42439 of them were deemed successful. In this category, the pass rate was 85.07%. 18541 out of 21302 students showed up for Alim (Senior Secondary), and 17544 of them passed. The Alim category’s overall result was 94.62%.
This year’s exam yielded an overall score of 87.66%. Of the 68423 students, 8440 were deemed unsuccessful and 59983 were successful. There were 33869 males and 34554 girls among the applicants who took the 2025 board test.
With 89.83%, Mohammad Aqib of Madrasa Ghazi Masoodul Uloom in Amethi was among the top scorers in the UP-Madrasa Board exams for Munshi/Maulvi (Secondary). He was followed by Shazia Shami of Madrasa Islamia Maktab, Halatpur in Kushinagar with 88.17% and Farhan Raza of Madrasa Mohammadia Faizur Rasool in Kushinagar with 88.33%.
Furqan Ali of Madrasa Islamia Arabia Taleemul Quran in Moradabad won 95% of the points in the Alim (Senior Secondary) category. Sidrun Nisha of Madrasa Kaneez Sugar Girls High School in Kushinagar came in second with 94.80%, and Noman Khan of Al Sagar Fatima Arabic College in Jhansi came in third with 93.80%.

“All of the exam procedures were conducted online, and the state administration has guaranteed transparency through the madrasa portal. The government is always striving to empower the minority community under the direction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

In any case, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has received a presentation outlining the upcoming revisions to the Madrasa curriculum.
The exam was administered at 439 locations throughout 71 districts of the state, according to RP Singh, Registrar of the UP-Madrasa Board. Through web casting, 150 exam locations were observed in real time from Lucknow. There was no cheating and the exam was very transparent. Students can enroll in the university whenever it is most convenient for them after the results are announced.
