The Central Board of Secondary Education is set to commence the Class 10 and 12 practical supplementary examinations starting from July 10, 2025. The Board has issued guidelines for candidates who will participate in the examination. Candidates may review the guidelines on the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.
Students in Class 12 who have been categorized as compartment candidates due to a repeat in practicals are required to take the practical examination solely during the supplementary exams. These candidates are not obligated to sit for the theory examination, as their previous theory marks will be retained and considered.
All students intending to take the examination must reach out to their respective schools or examination centres by July 7, 2025, bringing along a copy of their result or mark sheet and their admit card.
According to the official notice, the practical answer books provided by the regional offices are to be utilized for conducting the practical examination. Schools or examination centres administering practical exams during the supplementary examination in 2025 are required to upload the marks awarded to candidates on the portal on the same day.
The Board will carry out the practical examinations for regular candidates at their schools. In contrast, practical examinations for private candidates will be held at the examination centres designated for theory examinations. For further information, candidates can visit the official CBSE website.
