The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) announced the counselling dates on Monday for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) concerning first-year postgraduate professional technical courses in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) for the academic year 2025-2026. Candidates are able to view and download the MAH MCA CET counselling schedule from cetcell.mahacet.org and mca2025.mahacet.org.in.
According to the counselling schedule, candidates may register online and upload their documents for admission on the website from June 30 to July 9. The process of document verification and confirmation of the application form for admission is scheduled to commence on July 1 and will continue until July 10 at 5 pm. The provisional merit list for candidates from Maharashtra and all India will be released on July 13.
Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to submit grievances regarding the provisional merit list from July 14 to July 16. The final merit list is set to be published on July 18.
Candidates who have registered for MAH-MCA-CET 2025 are exempt from paying any registration fees for admission. However, candidates classified as NRI/OCI/PIO, children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, and foreign national candidates are required to pay fees as determined by the Competent Authority. Please note that the fees paid are non-refundable.
The application fee for candidates belonging to the General Category from Maharashtra, outside Maharashtra state (OMS), the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, and the Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant candidates is Rs 1,200. In contrast, the fee is Rs 1,000 for candidates from reserved categories [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, EWS, SEBC], PWD candidates from Maharashtra state only, as well as orphan and transgender (other) candidates.
Candidates from Maharashtra state, all India candidates, and those from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh must possess a graduation degree, ideally with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or at the graduation level. They should have achieved a minimum of 50 percent marks (or at least 45 percent for candidates from reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category from Maharashtra State) in the qualifying examination and must have secured a non-zero score in the MAH MCA CET 2025.
